A LITTLE ABOUT PEDRO MACEDO

Master's student in the Postgraduate Program in Communication at the Federal University of Paraná (PPGCOM/UFPR), in the line of research in Communication and Sociocultural Formations. Postgraduate scholarship at the UFPR Public Communication School Agency. Graduated in Social Communication - Journalism from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) with certification from the University of Minho (Portugal) in Communication Sciences. He currently works in the Communication and Marketing sector of the Paraná League to Combat Cancer (Hospital Erasto Gaertner and Hospital Erastinho). He carries out research in the area of health journalism, epidemiology, AIDS and public health, resulting in the monograph and book-report The Disease I Habit (2020), awarded as the best separate book-report by Intercom Sul in 2021. He is a member of the Ethics Committee in Research at Erasto Gaertner Hospital mandate 2023-2027.
