CINE-FORUM AWARD FOR SHORT FILMS

1. Serão aceitos CURTAS-METRAGENS de cineastas de QUALQUER GÊNERO, COR, CREDO e LUGAR DO MUNDO .

 

2. Serão aceitos CURTAS de cineastas iniciantes, graduandos ou graduados, pós-graduandos – curtas-metragens de trabalhos conclusão de curso ou correspondentes - e, também, cineastas amadores do audiovisual.

 

3. Os interessados em participar poderão inscrever APENAS filmes que foram finalizados a partir de 2023 até o presente momento, exceto a categoria Junior*.

 

4. Filmes de outros países e/ou em outras línguas, precisam obrigatoriamente ter legenda em português.

 

5. Os filmes devem ter no máximo 22 minutos, com créditos.

 

6. Cada filme terá um representante, com idade mínima de 18 anos, que será o responsável pela inscrição, comunicação com a produção do Coletivo Cine-Fórum e responsável pelo curta-metragem. 

 

7. Os representantes poderão se inscrever com ATÉ 2 curtas-metragens, o que poderá acarretar na seleção de mais de um curta-metragem ou não.

 

*Excepcionalmente na categoria Melhor Curta-Metragem Junior, é obrigatório que os integrantes sejam alunos regularmente matriculados em escolas publicas ou privadas, do ensino fundamental ou médio, tendo como responsável pela inscrição 1 professor, coordenador, diretor, pais ou maior de 18 anos. Nesta categoria serão aceitos curtas-metragens finalizados a partir de 2022.

 

Especificações técnicas mínimas: o audiovisual deve ter no mínimo 720p (HD), no máximo 22 minutos, com crédito. O audiovisual pode ser color. ou  pb, em caso de legenda, a mesma deve estar sincronizada, som minimamente audível e compreensível. Será aceito audiovisuais nos formatos widescreen ou fullscreen. Não há especificação mínima para MB ou GB do arquivo final. É obrigatório 3 fotos promocionais do curta-metragem, que será enviado junto ao mesmo no ato da inscrição.

1. SHORT FILMS from filmmakers of ANY GENDER, RACE, CREED, or LOCATION IN THE WORLD will be accepted.

2. SHORT FILMS by beginner filmmakers, undergraduate or graduate students, postgraduates—short films created as part of course completion projects or equivalents—and amateur audiovisual filmmakers will be accepted.

3. Interested participants may submit ONLY films completed between 2023 and the present, except for the Junior* category.

4. Films from other countries and/or in other languages must have subtitles in Portuguese.

5. Films must be a maximum of 22 minutes long, including credits.

6. Each film must have one representative, aged at least 18 years, who will be responsible for registration, communication with the Cine-Fórum Collective's production team, and the short film itself.

7. Representatives may submit UP TO 2 short films, which may result in the selection of one or both, or neither.

*For the Best Junior Short Film category, participants must be students regularly enrolled in public or private elementary or high schools, with a teacher, coordinator, director, parent, or guardian aged 18 or older responsible for registration. This category will accept short films completed from 2022 onward.

Minimum technical specifications:

• The audiovisual work must have a minimum resolution of 720p (HD).

• It must not exceed 22 minutes, including credits.

• The film can be in color or black-and-white.

• If subtitles are included, they must be synchronized.

• Audio must be minimally audible and comprehensible.

• Films may be in widescreen or fullscreen formats.

• There is no minimum file size requirement in MB or GB.

• Three promotional photos of the short film must be submitted along with the film at the time of registration.

Awards:

Regardless of the number of people involved in the short film (whose names will be disclosed if selected), the SHORT FILM THAT WINS FIRST PLACE will receive the following awards:

• A trophy sent to the person responsible for the registration.

• A winner’s seal for the short film.

• All participants will receive a digital winner's certificate.

For second and third places, the short film will receive:

• A selected seal.

• A digital certificate for national recognition as a selected work.

Among all first-place winners, one will be selected as the BEST SHORT FILM. This work will receive the following:

• A total prize of BRL 500.

• A certificate.

• A special winner's seal.
